How:

Complete the BBQ Ribber/ Food Vendor Application below and click on the SUBMIT tab.  The information will automatically transmit to the appropriate party.  If you have any questions prior to completing the application, feel free to call Ron Danielewicz at 1.716.870.1307 or email Ron at rond@artofribs.com.   All prospective BBQ Ribbers and Food Vendors will be contacted by email or phone with confirmation of booth number and verification that documentation and payment is in place no later than July 15, 2010.


Guidelines:

All BBQ Ribbers and Food Vendors must adhere to the targeted set-up and tear-down schedule as outlined in their confirmation documents.

All BBQ Ribbers and Food Vendors must remain open for the duration of the festival to ensure that food service is readily available to visitors.

All BBQ Ribbers must agree to participate in the RIB JUDGING CONTEST. Judging Kits will be sold to the general public and will include a voucher ticket for each rib vendor with a designated rib vendor number on the ticket. The BBQ rib vendors will provide one rib portion when presented with a judging ticket with their vendor number on it. At the end of the festival, each BBQ rib vendor will submit their judging tickets with a total count in a designated envelope. The Lewiston/NOTL Rotary Club will issue a check for reimbursement of $1.00 per ticket to each BBQ Rib Vendor to compensate vendor for the cost of the total rib samples dispensed. The maximum number of sample ribs will not exceed 1000 per participating BBQ vendor. No minimum number of sample ribs can be guaranteed. The Rib Judging Contest will run from the beginning of the festival, Saturday, August 14th at 10AM through Sunday, August 15th at 5:00PM. The Rib Judging Contest winners will be announced on Sunday, August 15th between 5:30PM and 8PM from the Stage Area in Academy Park. There will be two trophies granted for BEST RIBS; a People’s Choice Award and a Certified KCBS Judges Award.

All BBQ Ribbers and Food Vendors must provide the applicable VENDOR APPLICATION below no later than June 30, 2010. Complete the form and click on SUBMIT.

Once approved, Ribbers and Food Vendors will be emailed a confirmation. Upon receipt of the confirmation, please send the original Application with signature along with the Certificate of Insurance, Niagara County Health Certificate and non-refundable payment(s) by check . This is to due no later than July 15, 2010. Please Fedex or UPS in a trackable overnight service to: ART OF RIBS 2010 c/o Ron Danielewicz, 290 Glenvale Road, Youngstown, NY 14174-1121.

Booth assignments will be generated on July 19th with additional instructions including targeted move-in and setup times specific to each booth number and location in the park. This information will be emailed to each vendor.

A pdf footprint outlining the tentative layout of Academy Park is available upon request. The footprint will be included in all vendors confirmation packages emailed on July 19th.

 Yes, I will secure the required Health Certificate from the Niagara County Health Department and send original With my payment for receipt no later than July 15, 2010. I take full responsibility to comply with Niagara County Health Regulations.

Certificate of Insurance

 Yes, I will secure the required Certificate of Liability Insurance to include the following provisions:

Additional Insured: Name the Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Club, Lewiston, NY as additional insured on the Certificate.

Additional Terms of Contract:

All vendors will supply their own tables, chairs, tents, power cords and equipment (unless otherwise specified).

Vendor will abide by all health, fire and festival regulations.

Vendor will supply the required Niagara County Health Certificate and Certified Liability Insurance Certificate.

Vendor will hold harmless the Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Club, the Village of Lewiston, NY and/or any other party from any and all liability.

Vendor’s food service will remain open during the full festival hours of operation.

Vendor will be responsible for its own security and properties while on the Academy Park grounds.

Vendor is responsible for the removal of refuse to the supplied booth space and promises to leave the rented space clean throughout the event and at the conclusion of the festival.

Vendor will include a separate check for $100 made payable to the Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary in addition to payment for vendor fees, to serve as a refundable deposit for potential damages. This check will be reimbursed to the vendor at the close of the event upon final inspection of booth space commencing move-out.

Should vendor representatives suffer any accident or injury, vendor authorizes any other participant in the Sponsor’s activities to administer first aid, treatment or service to assist representative. Vendor representatives understand that the aid, treatment or service, should it be provided, will be at their sole risk without any liability or risk to the Sponsor or the aid provider.

I understand that the Sponsor or other persons or entities may take photographs or create video or audio recordings of my activities with the Sponsor. I consent to grant and convey to the Sponsor in perpetuity all right, title and interest to any such photographs or recordings without royalty.

By my signature, or myself, my estate, and my heirs, I hereby release and discharge, and agree to forever hold harmless the Sponsor and its vendor partners, supervisors, officers, directors, agents, volunteers, servants and employees, from any and all causes of action and damages arising from or relating to my participation in this eventt, and any travel associated therewith.
I hereby certify that I am at least 18 years old and represent the vendor company as an authorized party.
